I was asked to photograph this beach wedding inspiration idea a few months ago with with one of my favorite stylists, so I’m excited to share it with you today. Vanessa from Alchemy Fine Events teamed up with our friends at Lounge Appeal to put together something modern and beachy in order to showcase their new Luxe collection of furnishings. Using her own creative palette coupled with the new home collection launched by Diane Von Furstenberg Vanessa’s table scape as you’ll see below is amazing.

I can’t say enough about Mr. Andy Demo. I’ve known him since we were youngsters and our parents went to high school together. He’s as solid as a rock in stature as well as character. Love you Andrew and you too Lins. You both know how to have a great time while always keeping it sarcastic. Thank you again for allowing me to capture your day! It was almost like a high school reunion mixed with a wedding……..without the awkwardness and more of the party part.

I was lucky enough to have a small photograph published in the fall feature of C Weddings this year. It’s a little photo on the beauty page from Kim & Eric’s wedding, but I was very happy nonetheless.

Unfortunately the photo credit was given to the wrong Scott Lawrence out of Florida with his phone number but what can ya do. Maybe I should start using my last name since I’m certain no one else shares it with me……….or maybe that’s a bad idea because no one can seem to spell it either.

I attended the San Diego Style Wedding Magazine launch party with a few friends last night and it was awesome as always. Might have had a few to many special lemonaid’s……but who’s counting right?? I was really happy to find out that my photos were chosen to be used on 3 of the 5 covers this year!! And just as excited to be able to share some of the photos from our shoot.

Special thank you’s to the Airr Supper Club and Fleetwood for the use of their beautiful establishment. Our models Amy and Corinn were really great to work with as well. No I’m not an angry Hawaiian talking Pigeon. I mean photo shoots, lots of them. I’ve been shooting weddings, houses, hotels, engagements, invites, and my dogs. So there’s not a lot of time left for blogging or editing the photos. I will tell you that I just got back from shooting a wedding on Catalina Island. Amazing. Did some work with my friend Vanessa of Alchemy Fine Events, and just shot a really really cool engagement session downtown yesterday. Can’t reveal the ideas or theme but it was amazing. Can’t wait to get all of the above edited and up on the blog.

So I’m getting to the age where the wedding attending years are coming to a close and the baby’s are beginning to show up as if someone spiked the kool aid……….

My closest friend on the planet and his lovely wife drank the punch about 9 months ago and I got to pay a visit in June to admire the perfectly round bundle and take a few photos. As you can see Katie didn’t gain a pound and looked amazing all the way through. Shaun on the other hand looked like he was ready to pass out!! Ha ha, just kidding Shauny. Congratulations on a healthy happy baby girl! Little Maddie was born on July 1st, 2011 and I can’t wait to get a look at her.
