About Me

My name is Scott Lawrence Chebegia, I've been a photographer in many mediums for about 8 years now, getting my first taste of "professional" photography (if there is such a thing) at a magazine publication called TransWorld Surf.  I grew up surfing and always glamorized the idea of being paid to travel the globe chasing waves and sunsets.  Throughout the rest of my on and off life behind a lens, one thing became increasingly clear.  I love to shoot people, I just do.  There is something about capturing a persons mood and emotion to forever be looked back upon by themselves and others day's, month's, or decades later that pulls at my creative strings.
If I could explain my style of photography it would be all about the moments for me.  I love to stand back with a camera and watch people's emotions unfold naturally.

I live in San Diego, California with my beautiful wife Kimberly, and our little buddy Sophie the puggle.  We spend a lot of our free time talking about wedding blogs and eating ice cream.  Kimberly aspires to one day be the most fabulous, love filled creative wedding and event coordinator of all time.
