When Taryn and I met with Kim & Eric for the first time in our satellite office aka Starbucks, I knew right away they were going to be awesome to photograph. They’re both full of smiles, enthusiasm, and good times. Oh ya and it helps that they both look like movie stars. So after convincing them that we were the perfect fit to tell their love story via imagery, we set off on a journey to plan the perfect engagement shoot. If you read the sneak peak on these two they will be getting married on New Years Eve this coming winter in downtown San Diego. The venue is at the amazing studio of the Botanica Modern Floral Design team, where all brides should look for all their floral ideas and inspiration.
So, Kim came up with the idea to do the NYE after party dress attire paired with some funky scenes and an old vintage couch. (Awesome!) Then Taryn and I figured that since we had such an amazing rain fall winter leading into a gorgeous full bloom spring that we should take advantage of the wildflowers as well as some of the local out of the ordinary scenes. Somewhere along the way the concept was derived for the drive in shoot as well as the flower hills and magic happened. We had such a great time shooting with Kim and Eric, and the images turned out better than I had hoped. Thanks Kim & Eric, you guys are awesome. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding!

Scott Lawrence - Hi Steph,
Randomly enough Kim say’s her friend picked up the necklace at the Banana Republic outlet for a Hollywood Glam Party……
Steph - On the off chance that Kim reads this comment — WHERE did you get that incredible necklace?! It’s AMAZING.
Oh, and awesome pictures, too! =)
