I’ve had the most ridiculous past three weeks full of photo shoots of all different genre’s in several cities, meetings of all kinds, and a pile of retouching so high that I felt like I would never find my way out from under it. So when I realized that Escalate Live 2010 was this Monday and Tuesday instead of being really excited, I was really stressed out. How am I going to get the 5,000 images that need to be retouched done? How am I going to get to blog posts? How am I going to organize what I didn’t while I was on the road last week? How am I going to sleep????!!
Well I still don’t know the answers to any of the questions above, but what I do know is that it was SO WORTH IT!! The general vibe and energy of everyone who took the stage over the past two days was nothing short of shocking! There are some amazing people in our industry who not only are incredibly talented with a camera, but are also tirelessly looking at how to improve our industry and our quality of life. If you are a photographer and didn’t go, do yourself a favor and buy the live video feed. So many awesome pointers and great outlooks on how to run your business.
Special thanks from me and Taryn to all of the big hitters of our world who took the time to stop and chat with us about anything we blurted out. It was pretty awesome talking to these guys about how they’re doing what they’re doing so well. And double special thanks to Dane Sanders for making it all possible. Here’s a few iPhone photos from the day. (Ya I know, I stocked Jasmine Star and JD and even got my photo taken with them – such a dork! I still think she’s the cats pajamas though……ha!)
