WPPI

Pack your bags, we’re headed to Vegas again.  I’m way more excited about this trip than the last one though!  Taryn and I are loading up the Prius and preparing for two crazy day’s of the WPPI trade show.  That’s right folks I’m talking wall to wall, thousands of square feet of all of the greatest vendors displaying every gadget, toy, and piece of equipment that every photographer wishes they could magically find in their own gear bag.  It’s fun to pretend that I’m going there because I can afford to buy all this stuff, but the reality is that it’s a great event to meet thousands of people from everywhere who share the same passions photographically as I do.  Oh ya and it’s kind of like going to the Dodger game once a year when I was a kid on the day they would allow fans to show up 2 hours early and walk out on the field to meet their hero’s on the very grass that they would later dig their cleats into to further confirm they were worthy of your worship.

So off we go tomorrow morning at 7 AM to learn more about our industry and the latest greatest technological advancements available today and to brush elbows with some of the kings and queens of wedding photography.  Can’t wait!
